MASJID RAMADAN GUIDELINES
Please note there will be two Taraweeh prayers one after Isha Jamat and the second will commence approximately around 12am. Please see below Ramadan time table for more information on Jamaat times during this blessed month.
Please note: there is only 1 Taraweeh this year (2021) due to COVID restrictions
Please avoid parking directly outside the Masjid as this causes a lot of traffic and puts a burden on our non-Muslim neighbours. Islam teaches us to be courteous towards our neighbours and we should park in a secure location avoiding congestion.
Roads to avoid: Wightman Rd, Denmark Rd and Hampden Rd
Road to park: Any Road on the Haringey Ladder should be fine to park.
Security We are at a time where Islamaphobia is on the rise and it is for this reason LICS has employed a full time security guard during Taraweeh Salah times. We ask everyone to be respectful and listen to his instructions. We would like to re-iterate that listening to those in authority is a mandatory principle in Islam that a believer should adhere to.
Our Masjid is located in a residential area and we live amongst our non-Muslim communities. For this reason we MUST be mindful of our environment and minimise noise and avoid congregating around the Masjid. After you have prayed please disburse the area to avoid giving a bad reputation for our community. Jazaak Allahu Khayr.
