Establish a community based learning center to provide enrichments programs to children in the community. Render of Islamic religious services to the Muslim population of the area.
To provide services to the general community, irrespective of religion, that will aid in improving the cultural, social and intellectual quality of life of its residents.
Provide Islamic education, Islamic youth leadership training programs and Islamic Outreach activities. Establish partnerships with academic, cultural, scientific institutions and faith based non-profit organizations.
Help the Ummah in Palestine bydonating. Homes have been destroyed, children murdered, there is limited clean water, limited electricity, mothers are losing their children, many made orphans, schools destroyed, hospitals attacked, Masjid Al Aqsa attacked, our honour attacked.
The Muslim Ummah Is One Body. Nu’man bin Bashir (radi Allahu anhum) reported that the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihiwasallam) said, “The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever.”.

1. LICS MASJID is OPEN for daily prayers. We are not open currently for Fajr prayers.

3. JUMMAH PRAYERS: 1st jummah is at 1pm and 2nd is at 2pm. Gates open 20 minutes before each prayers and gates will be closed when the Masjid is full.

EID-UL-ADHA PRAYERS & QURBANI APPEAL
The beautiful day of Eid-ul-Adha, Insha Allah will be observed onTuesday July 20, 2021. It is a day to share with our dear families and to remember the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim.
LICS will be holding 5 [five] prayers: 7.00am, 8.00am, 9.00am, 10.00am and 11.00am. Please remember to follow the Health & Safety guidance and instructions given by our Helpers. These all apply when coming to the Masjid including for Eid-Ul-Adha [See below]
LIFTING THE LOCKDOWN DOES NOT MEAN THE VIRUS IS GONE. The Delta variant is the most transmissible and is the cause of serious infection.
You MUST WEAR A MASK before entering the Masjid. The Masjid is an ‘Indoor Public Place’ and we have in place Infection Control measures to mitigate the risk of infection, we are all required to follow them.
Admission for each Namaaz is on a ‘First come’ basis; when the Masjid is full, the gates will be closed.
There is NO WUDU/Toilet facilities inside or outside the Masjid.
Please bring prayer mats, wear a mask and use the sanitiser.
Wearing a mask can prevent asymptomatic spread of Covid. It is our duty to protect our vulnerable ones and our families.
