North London British Bangladeshi Community Empowerment Group held a Community Eid celebration on Sunday 4th May 2025 at Chestnut Community Centre, St Anns Road

It was a wonderful opportunity for all communities to come together in the spirit of celebration, togetherness and community cohesion. Family and friends welcomed the chance to reconnect and joined together creating some wonderful memories in this bangladeshi cultural programme

The programme was dynamic and filled with musical talents, recognition and celebration of many Bangladeshi businesses who also positively support the UK economy.

It was powerful to see the community being proactive in building bridges with all diverse communities London wide but particularly in Haringey.

In attendance and recognising the work of the NLBC was Rep. Deputy Lieutenant Peter Baker, Cllr Ahmed, Deputy Mayor of Haringey, Imam Abdul Kadir and Sister Bibi, President LICS

The programme was very well executed raising awareness of this groups powerful ability to recognise the multicultural make up of Haringey.
