Thanks & Appreciation

HMFF held a gathering on Monday 18th May at Wightman Road Mosque attended by members, Haringey Wood Green BID and friends to express thanks and appreciation to councillors who have been part of the Forum’s progression and who were not successful in being re-selected as councillors.

Erim and Bibi thanked the Leader of the Council Peray Ahmet, Cllr Ahmed Mahbub, Cllr Ajda Ovat and Cllr Cathy Brennan. HMFF presented a thank you gift in recognition of community support.

The beautiful thing about the evening was that everyone present shared their sense of loss, expressed thanks and valued the years of encouragement.

Peter Baker RDL and Catherine West MP, Harry Rashid and Cllr Ibrahim Ali detailed the unique and treasured service given to HMFF and community by our Leader and councillors.

Peray and Ahmed expressed their thanks and reassured everyone that they will always support the work of HMFF and value Haringey community.

Everyone joining together made this event special continuing the respect and cohesion promoted by HMFF.

Thanks was extended to HMFF particularly to Erim, Bibi and Judith for organising, arranging food and gifts.
